Risk Management

Pembroke Minor Hockey is taking positive steps in promoting the prevention of abuse and harassment within our Association.

As such, use of profanity or aggression directed at a game official, executive member, team official, parent or child will not be tolerated and appropriate disciplinary action will be result from these actions.

At no time should you participate in confrontations with any parent, team official, referee, or player. Also, please refrain from using emails to discredit anyone.

If at any time you feel you, your child, or anyone else is being threatened or harassed, remove yourself from the situation, and immediately contact the Director Risk Management, or any member of the PMHA Executive. They will inform you of the proper procedure to initiate the complaint.

Questions and answers on "harassment towards kids" may also be directed to a number of the volunteers not directly associated with the Pembroke Minor Hockey Executive. These Individuals have an abundance of knowledge in this field and have resources available to help instruct our coaches and parents on the way we should conduct ourselves around young people. These individuals could also offer assistance should a case be filed (provided they are not the investigating officer at the time).
