Roles of the Coach

The actions of players both on and off the ice are the responsibility of the coach.

1. The actions of the team officials on and off the ice are the responsibility of the coach.
2. It is the intent of the House League that all player participants receive equal ice time. In the event of complaints on the above subject, the League is prepared to deal with violators (UOVMHL)
3. It is the responsibility of the coach to ensure that suspensions are carried out.
4. Do not pull your team off the ice during a game. If you are concerned about safety, ask the referee to suspend the game.

Communication

1. Keep open the lines of communication with all team players, affiliated players and parents. 
2. Have a meeting at the start of the year.
3. Have a team meeting before Christmas.
4. Have a team meeting before playoffs begin.
5. Should game dates / practices change, ensure everyone is aware.
6. Put monthly schedules out to the team (including emailing them into the webmaster@pembrokeminorhockey.com for inclusion on the web site).
